UNBOXING EXPERIENCE
For this project, I designed a unique unboxing experience to not only hold a gift for someone special but to also create a memorable experience for the recipient.
I started by sketching out the design in order to plan the build and measurements.
The box holds a ring in a center cube with two flaps overlapping one another.
On each face are phrases and pictures to enhance the recipient's experience. I brainstormed possible phrases meaningful to the recipient.
Using a typeface personal to the both the recipient and gift giver adds an extra touch to the experience.
String secures the box closed and mirrors both the hand drawn picture and the color of the ring within revealed at the end of the experience.
